Senior Home Advocates offers free consultations to any family that is considering using our services and/or is looking for senior care community. We are happy to meet with you in person at our office or in your home. During the consultation, we will discuss all of the specifics surrounding your unique situation. We will use this information to assess your senior’s needs and what type of care will provide the best fit. We will share with you what our agency can do for your family and what to expect going forward as well as what senior living costs are involved. After this consultation, you will have all of the information necessary to decide whether Senior Home Advocates is right for you.
After the consultation, the search for the right senior care facilities begins. All you have to do is let Senior Home Advocates do all of the work and research. We will search for facilities that meet all of your needs, geographic requirements, and budget parameters.
There are many requirements that must be met in order to move into an assisted living or board and care facility. Senior Home Advocates will guide you on how to get the required physician’s report and TB test.
Once we have matched your needs with the facilities’ amenities, Senior Home Advocates will pre-screen the facilities for you. Although it is very important for a facility to meet the needs of your senior, it also needs to match your family’s personality. Senior Home Advocates will personally prescreen each facility to ensure that the current residents and staff are a good fit for your family.
During the pre-screening process, Senior Home Advocates will narrow the selection down to 3 or 4 senior care facilities that we believe may be right for you. We will accompany you on tours of each of these potential facilities. On these tours, you will have the chance to see first-hand what services and resources they have to offer. You will also meet the people that may be providing care for your senior. We will be there to answer any questions you may have. These tours usually provide families with all of the information they need to make a decision that they are happy with.
After viewing the senior care facilities, it is time to make the final decision on which facility will best meet your family’s unique needs. There is no better feeling than knowing you made the right decision for handling the long-term care of your senior. We will help you make all of the final arrangements and get your senior happily situated in their new home.
